Removal Guide for a Red Wine Stain on Wood
Aug 4th, 2011 by The Stain Doctor
Question – How to Remove a Red Wine Stain on Wood
Red wine might be a perfect complement to your dinner party, but the drink can easily stain your wood floors and furniture. Luckily, most floors and furniture are finished and sealed so that they repel stains. However, you may not be able to remove the stains fast enough, and the alcohol in the wine may dissolve the finish and soak into the wood where it can be tricky to remove. Use cleaning solutions and processes that won’t damage the wood.
Answer – To remove the Red Wine Stains:
I would put a little Stain Rx on a moist towel or sponge and wipe the red wine stain. It will be gone in a second. Then rinse off all the soapy water and dry. Too easy.

Answer:
Stain Rx (a.k.a. Erado-Sol), was the “ready to use” winner of the study done by University of California – Davis titled Red Wine Stain Removal. Just touch it to a red wine stain and it is gone in a second. You won’t believe what else it removes.
